About
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Act provides services to students who are experiencing homelessness. Services for homeless students may include transportation to the school they attended before becoming homeless, free or reduced meals, provision of school supplies, waived fees for activities, and enrollment in school even if a legal guardian is unavailable. See the Overview of McKinney-Vento for a more detailed definition of homeless and description of available support.
