Natasha Taylor
My name is Natasha Taylor and my plan after high school is to attend Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho and earn a dual degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. I hope to get my Bachelor’s Degree in two years (since I will have my Associates this June) and get a job at an elementary school in Washington. Then I plan on taking classes every summer until I earn a Master’s Degree. At the moment, I believe want to teach forth grade but that may change.
My favorite high school memories are competitions with my drill team and working in the greenhouse/ shop with Mr. Wetzel. This year was my first year on the cheer/ drill team and it taught me so much besides dance technique such as punctuality, dependability, team work, and adaptability. I cannot even begin to explain the amount of extra work coach Kelsey Cole gave to this team and it’s members that changed me for the better. Ever since seventh grade, Mr. Wetzel has been a great role model for me and has done an outstanding job as a teacher. He has taught me many useful skills over the years that I still use to this day. His willingness to go above and beyond as an educator and make a difference in the lives of students is a big part of my decision to become an educator myself. I want to thank these two individuals for making my high school experience much more bearable and preparing me for adulthood.
