Jostens will be here this Wednesday, October 5 at 10:00AM to meet with the Class of 2023 regarding graduation order such as caps, gowns, etc. Seniors should plan on attending this event. If you cannot attend, please pick up ordering material in the HS Office at some point after the meeting.
Read MoreThis Friday students, grades 7-12, will have an opportunity to participate in a Student Homework & Workload Stress survey. This is an internal survey designed to assess the current stress levels of students at MHS.
We are hoping to get feedback from our students regarding their perceived stress level at school, their opinions regarding differing school schedules such as later start times and/or early release times, in addition to other general questions relating to ways school spirit can improve at MHS.
While we encourage students to participate in the survey, this survey is completely optional. If you or your student wishes to opt-out of the survey on Friday, simply reply to this email and we will have an alternative task for them to do during this time.

Reminder for High School Students: Tomorrow is the deadline for purchasing your class shirt for Spirit Week.

These shirts are completely voluntary. If your student doesn't want a class designed shirt, they are encouraged to wear their class color on the Wednesday (10/19) of Homecoming Week:
Freshman are RED,
Sophomores are PURPLE,
Juniors are BLUE, and
Seniors are BLACK
If you choose to purchase a shirt, please note that all shirts will be delivered to Montesano High School and their class advisor will hand them out. Please do not change the shipping address when purchasing.
Again, the purchasing deadline is: Tuesday, September 27

Gates will be locked until 5:00PM on game day. Any blankets placed in the grandstands before this time will be removed. Seats will be available on a first come-first served basis. Ticket booths will open at 5:00PM. We will not be pre-selling tickets to this event.

Tonight is orientation for our 7th & 8th grade students. We will begin the evening in the Junior High Gym at 6:00PM where you will meet the Principal, Assistant Principal, Office Staff, Counseling Staff, and other staff members.
Junior High students should take advantage of this opportunity to practice their locker combinations and get a feel for the campus layout and class locations. We encourage parent(s) to attend this important evening with your student.

We will not be sending forms home. This Information Update will open on Monday, August 15 and will be open until Friday, August 19. It is critical that you complete all steps during this registration window. All students must have these forms completed in order to view their class schedules.

Read MoreLocker assignments for next year will take place between June 8 through June 13 during lunches. Each grade has a specific assignment date. If you have a locker preference, make sure you have the locker number. Locker choices for each grade are posted on the wall by those lockers. Remember that lockers are on a first come-first served basis. Locker priority will be given to those students with a full schedule at MHS. Additionally, those students with perfect attendance during term 4 will have first opportunity at locker selection.
If you are going to be gone during your locker assignment date, you may have a friend pick your locker for you – however they will need to bring a signed note from you giving them permission to make that selection. Also, if students don't have a locker preference, they don’t have to wait in line on their assigned date. We will make sure every student has a locker when we return in August.
Locker assignment dates will take place during lunches on the following dates:
Current Juniors - Wednesday, June 8
Current Sophomores – Thursday, June 9
Current Freshmen – Friday, June 10
7th & 8th Grade – Monday, June 13
Montesano High School is gathering names of Seniors for our Letter of Intent/Signing Day recognition. If you are a student-athlete-musician-other and have received a letter of intent, we would like to celebrate your achievement. Please email the HS Office and let us know that you would like to be included in this acknowledgement. We'd love to include a picture of the 'signing" to include in the recognition. We need to know what (activity) and who (which institution) you are signing for!
The deadline to turn in this information is Monday, May 23!
Read MoreSpring has sprung! The Montesano High School FFA is busy preparing for their “Annual Plant Sale”. This year’s sale is back in full swing. The greenhouse, located between the north end of the High school and the Junior high gym, will be open to the public beginning Saturday, April 30th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. It will continue to be open for the first three Saturdays in May from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and weekdays by appointment. You may make an appointment by calling (360) 249-4041.
