Junior High Testing Next Week

Next week, junior high students will be taking the spring diagnostic test for i-Ready in both math and ELA.  This is a district assessment administered on the computer and takes an hour to complete on average. The test is one of many assessments we use to measure student growth in the area of mathematics and reading.  We will send home test results with students the following week to share with guardians/parents.  The following is the test schedule:  

Tuesday, May 30th       7th grade MATH AM & PM

Wednesday, May 31st  8th grade MATH AM & PM

Thursday, June 1st       7th grade ELA AM & PM

Friday, June 2nd           8th grade ELA AM & PM

Monday, June 5th         Make-up testing (All)

We encourage families to schedule appointments around testing and please talk to your child about the  importance of doing his/her best so we have a fair assessment of his/her skills.
