Bulldog Update 5/15/2020
Dear Bulldogs and Bulldog Parents:
We wanted to check in with you all and share the plans that have been developing.
First let me say, to those who have been taking part in the continuous learning, great work! Our teachers have been working hard to shift their learning and teaching to meet our current situation. Our ability to deliver instruction virtually is expanding, and we can use your help as we move forward. Please reach out if we can support your student in this process. Kids have a tremendous opportunity to continue their learning. We have five weeks left so stay engaged.
Perhaps the best way to give you current updates is to bullet some of our planning so you can also start to plan:
Locker cleanout and book return will be scheduled for June 1-3. Details have been posted to the MHS website and Skyward.
The final day of classes is scheduled for Friday, June 19th, for all students.
Senior events are being planned:
The Honors ‘Banquet’ (invitation only) will happen on Tuesday, May 26th. This will be a virtual event, with special deliveries to our 24 honor graduates.
Senior Recognition Night is Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:30PM. This will be a virtual event.
Baccalaureate will be on Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:00PM. This will be a “drive in” event for our seniors and their families and will be held at the Grays Harbor Foursquare Church in Central Park.
Graduation planning is still ongoing - stay tuned!
Parents: We appreciate your efforts in supporting your student’s learning.
Students: Keep up the good work and don’t be afraid to reach out to your teachers if you need further support. This is a strange time for all of us, but we will get through this together.
Stay Safe and Stay Healthy,
Alec and Anne
