About

The Montesano School District Preschool is an inclusive program consisting of Special Education components. To enter into this program, students must qualify for Special Education Services. Developmental preschool screenings are provided year-round to children to identify possible delays for those who may need special education services. Please contact the Student Services Office 360-249-1233.

Special Education

Special Education is a state and federally funded program, provided by the Montesano School District.  To qualify, students must demonstrate significant support needs in one or more of the following developmental areas: language/communication; cognitive; social skills; adaptive and/or gross and fine motor skills. Preschool students attend class 1 to 2 days a week, determined by their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

*Schedule follows the Montesano School District school calendar.

State law mandates that each student attending school have proof of immunizations and birth certificate issued by the Department of Health.
