I have committed to playing baseball at Grays Harbor Community College for Coach Mike Bruner and the Chokers for the 2020-2021 baseball season. I plan to study natural resources and forestry while attending GHC. In addition, I am enrolled in real estate education classes so that I can obtain my Washington State Real Estate License this coming year along with my drone pilot’s certification from the FAA. I plan to start my own business, Daniels Drone Services, flying for real estate and timber clients in the Pacific Northwest while attending college. After completing my two years at GHC, I plan to further my education and play baseball at a 4 year University working to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Business Management.
My favorite memories of high school include the life-long friendships I made at MHS, four years of football, basketball and baseball, hiding in the closet in Mrs. Schrader’s class after school freshman year to log in more computer work, playing Assassin with the entire school, late night Denny trips, and countless trips to Buffalo Wild Wings with the guys. The best part of high school though was playing football for Montesano. The brotherhood is like no other and our friendships will last a lifetime.
While none of us wanted our senior year to end this way, remember that in the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity. Let us choose to focus on all the good times and great memories we have shared together over the past four years as we look forward with excitement to all the opportunities and possibilities that lie ahead.
To my 2020 classmates of MHS - go and seize these opportunities and work hard to be great in all that you do. Before we know it we will be gathering again for our 10 year reunion, and what a reunion that will be! Go Dogs!

Grace Bertram
Grace will be attending Saint Martin's University where she plans to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
My favorite memory was when I was in Drama Club and we were performing a Christmas Carol. During the scene where Scrooge learns that Timmy Cratchit dies, we were supposed to be serious. However, most of us couldn't keep it together on stage and ended up having to put our heads down to make it look like we were crying when we were actually laughing really hard.

I am looking forward to attending college in the Fall studying Physics and Computer Science. I am currently looking at schools and need to decide what school I will attend. I have many wonderful memories at MHS but my favorite are in Soccer, Drama, Knowledge Bowl, and Math Team. I have fond memories of the older students in Drama mentoring all of us younger kids and Mrs Hornback and the crazy fun that comes with doing shows. I would like to thank these coaches and teachers that have mentored and have helped make me who I am today…Coaches Denholm, Reynolds and Royer, teachers Rowekamp, Raines, Bates, Diaz and the incredibly patient Mrs. Hornback. Thank you for all you do for the students at MHS.
