MHS Tolo - March 8

MHS Tolo is March 8 from 8:00-10:00PM. This dance is open to MHS high school students only, no guests. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased with cash or check at the Bookkeeping Office. Tickets can also be purchased online through the link below or by scanning the QR code posted at the Bookkeeping Office (there is a service fee for this option).

Business Week 2024

Washington Business Week will be held from March 11 – March 15 for all junior students (including Running Start Students).  For one full and exciting week, students and some faculty members will be engaged in a non-traditional discovery learning experience called Washington Business Week.  Running Start students who have questions about their involvement should contact Mr. Pugh at Montesano High School.

If you have not purchased a Yearbook, they will be on sale 1/22 until 2/9 for $75. You can order online, or come to the Jr Sr High School Bookkeeping Office with cash or check made out to MHS.

State Soccer Tickets - Purchase Online!

Bulldog Girls Soccer will play in the State Tournament, Final Four round, this Friday vs. Seattle Academy at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. Game time is 5:00PM.

State Soccer & Football Event Info and Prices

We are hosting State Soccer against Bellevue Christian this Wednesday 11/8 at 6:00PM. State Football vs. Freeman is this Friday 11/10 at 7:00PM*. State ticket prices are as follows:

  • Adults $11.00

  • Students (without ASB cards) $11.00

  • Students (with ASB cards) $8.00

  • Senior Citizens (62 years old+) $8.00

  • K-6 Students $8.00

  • PRE-K = Free

Passes are not accepted for State events.

*Football gates will open at 5:45PM Friday. Blankets cannot be used to reserve seats. Must be present.

Thank you to those parents who signed up for a fall conference. Conferences at the Jr-Sr High School are encouraged but not required unless specifically noted by a teacher. All conference times must be scheduled in advance.

*Please note: we will have athletic events happening at the school tomorrow evening so parking will be limited and street parking may be required when you arrive.

District Athletic Event Prices

District events begin this week with Volleyball Wednesday 11/1, Soccer Thursday 11/2, and Football* Friday 11/3. Click here to view the Junior-Senior High calendar.

Athletic passes will not be accepted for these events and MHS students with ASB cards are not admitted for FREE. Ticket prices for these District events are as follows:

  • Adults $8.00

MHS Fall Conferences

MHS Fall Conferences will take place on Wednesday, November 8. Conferences will be from 1:00-5:00PM, and 6:00-8:00PM. We will be using Skyward Family Access to schedule all conferences. The scheduling window is Monday, October 30 through Friday, November 3.   All conferences must be scheduled during this window.

Washington State Healthy Youth Survey Fall 2023

Our school will be participating in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey on Wednesday, October 18 during first period for grades 8, 10, and 12. Participation in the survey is voluntary and the student’s answers are anonymous. There are no codes or information used to match a survey to a student. Survey results are used by schools, communities, and state agencies to plan programs to support our youth and reduce their risks. 

The Healthy Youth Survey includes questions related to physical activity and diet, unintentional and intentional injury, substance abuse, sexual behaviors, abuse, risk and protective factors, and access to school- based services

Homecoming Dance Tickets on sale Monday!

The Homecoming Dance, A Night in Paris, will be Saturday, October 7 from 8:00-10:30PM. This dance is for high school students only. Tickets are $15 if paying with cash or check.  Tickets can also be purchased online (scan the QR code in the Bookkeeping window-there is a service fee charge for this option).  Tickets can be purchased before school, during HS lunch, or after school. Tickets will not be sold during class time or between passing periods.

If you are bringing a guest from another school to our dance, you must list their name in the Office and pick up a Dance Guest Form. The dance form needs to be signed by the guest and their school’s administration. Additionally, all guests (+their MHS date) will have a brief interview (either in-person or by video) with Ms. Greene in order to be approved to attend this MHS function. The final day to have your interview and guest approval is Friday, September 29.

Here are some important Yearbook deadlines for Seniors:

  • Senior Portrait and Quote: November 25, 2023

  • Senior Ads: March 6, 2024

Picture formats need to be jpeg, high resolution. You may submit your portraits and quotes to the Yearbook directly at: yearbook@monteschools.org

Keep in mind that senior portraits and quotes have an earlier deadline than the senior ads. Additionally, all photos and quotes submitted must be school-appropriate. We respectfully reserve the right to reject any ad, photo, or quote that is inappropriate for the yearbook. The source of the quote must be cited as well.
