Today is MHS Signing Day! Stop by the library during HS lunch and wish our athletes will in their future endeavors!
THIS IS CONNECTIONS/SPIRIT WEEK! Today is Dress Up Like a Teacher, Thursday = Tourist Day & Thank a Teacher, Friday = Crazy Sock or Hat Day & Write a note to a teacher. If you would like to wear a hat as a part of your dress up day, please pay $1 to bookkeeping and get a stamp. All proceeds benefit Connections.
This week is our Connections Fundraising Week! 100% of all money raised will support Connections formerly the Children’s Advocacy Center.
*HS Field Day tickets are on sale now at the Bookkeeping Office. Only $2 if you buy TODAY! The price will increase to $4 on tomorrow. Field Day is tomorrow during 5th period. You MUST have a ticket to attend!
*Junior High don't forget to buy your Spring Fling dance tickets. Your semi-formal dance is COMING! This Friday, May 10 from 7:30-9:00PM. No outside guests, junior high students only...tickets are $5 and are on sale now at the Bookkeeping Office.
*Connection Grams will be sold at Junior High and High School Lunch for $1 and delivered 6th period.
*JH Lunch auction is TODAY!!! so bring your money to help support Connections.
Staff & Students: If you’d like a way to show your support for Mr. Pugh, here’s your chance! See the HS Office for silicone bracelets ($5) or to order a “Pugh Can Do It” t-shirt ($20).
HS Students: Yellow Sheets are now available! The Yellow Sheets are the Activities Achievement Applications and they award and recognize those high school students who are active in their school and through clubs, sports, volunteering, etc. See the Office for more information. Yellow Sheets are due no later than Wednesday, May 15!
Students! DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEER HOURS?? The Montesano Community Center is looking for JH and HS students for their Spring Fling on May 11. Approximately 6 volunteers are needed to help with serving from 4:00-8:00PM. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO ADD TO YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS FOR YOUR YELLOW SHEETS!! Please see the HS Office if you are interested in this opportunity.
Attention students age 16 and older – do you want a summer job?? Satsop Business Park is starting their summer hiring process and they are looking for energetic and reliable students for their summer maintenance crew. If you are interested see the Counseling Center for application information.
SENIORS and JUNIORS interested in attending the College and Career Fair on May 15 at South Puget Sound Community College, sign up in your Google classroom. The deadline to sign up is this Friday. This community event brings together 30 colleges and universities and 60 local employers, a one-stop opportunity to learn about higher education and career options. Resources include drop-in cover letter and resume help and drop-in personal statement for college applications help, Attendees can also get free headshots to use when building their professional social media profile(s). Bus leaves at 9:00AM and will return for 6th period. If you have any questions, see your school counselor.
HOSA is putting on the Smile Drive again this year, now through May 17th. All proceeds will be donated to the Grays Harbor Women’s and Children’s Center. You can either donate money online through the Bulldog Store or bring in new oral hygiene products. Donations can be dropped off in the yellow Smile Drive box in the HS Office or directly to Ms. Champlin in room 411 or Mrs. Dalan in room 306.
District playoffs are here! For fan convenience, tickets can be purchased online at gofan.co and search “SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON 1A LEAGUE”. Passes are not accepted and ASB cards will not get you in for free. Tickets will still be sold at the gate.
